FELDMILLA DESIGN HOTEL, SOUTH TYROL

Our smile for the friendship, the complete wellness for each sense and the design for freedom: the Feldmilla hotel is pleasantly different and naturally authentic. The sober elegance, the ecological values and the sensitivity for the aesthetic animate every ambient flooded by the light by creating new perspectives here, in the core of the mountains in Alto Adige.

The Feldmilla Hotel, managed by the Leimegger family from the 60s, features 35 modern and spacious rooms and it is located in a very quiet area with a wonderful panoramic view, far away from the traffic and close to the Tures’ Castle. The bridge of the Aurino river connects the Hotel with the centre of Campo Tures, which is just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel has an excellent restaurant – the Toccorosso - and, in addition, the SPA- wellness area which offers pleasant sensations and the feeling of being in good hands.

The Feldmilla’s philosophy is mainly based on the concept of sustainability with the maximum respect for the environment. Since October 2011 Feldmilla is the first climate neutral hotel in Alto Adige.
The hotel has its own power plant where all the electricity required is produced by using renewable sources - with the water which come from of the Aurino river.

Indeed, the grandparents already had, in 1939, their own power plant that was mainly used for activating the mill. The same name “Feldmilla” derives, in fact, from the two words “field” (feld) and “mill” (milla).

All the other emissions which are still inevitable are annually “compensated” thanks to our support in a climate project in Guatemala. With the compensation of the CO2 emissions, the Feldmilla has become a climate neutral hotel. The whole family and the two sisters, Karin and Ruth, who manage the hotel with their parents, are eager for improving everyday their capacity by deeply following the principles of sustainability, principles applied everyday in their professional life as well as in their private life.

Welcome to Felmilla Hotel!

RISTOTRABOCCO CUNGARELLE, ABRUZZI

The 'RistoTrabocco Cungarelle' in Vasto (Chieti) was born from our immense love for the sea and its surroundings.

Our idea, since we recovered this wonderful structure, typical of our land, is to offer the visitor the dream to re-evoke past seafaring traditions and make them re-live in a unique context.

Tasting typical dishes of the local cuisine on the beach or giving guided tours with fishing demonstration is for us a unique experience, to live moment by moment, in harmony with nature, enjoying every single moment as a pleasant detachment from the frenzy of modern times.

We propose a simple but genuine food, expertly tied to local products, from vegetables to wine, from fish to sweets.

Our intention is to offer a sustainable product, that welcomes customers and spoils them along a path that unfolds from dinner under the moon, lulled by the sound of the waves, to accomodation in structures on the sea that follow our philosophy.

In the future we will develop services to make our structure more accessible, such as raft trips along the Trabocchi Coast, excursions to the Regional Reserve of Punta Aderci or to the beautiful Tremiti islands, apnea stages, sport fishing and shuttle service from nearby beaches and much more.

We just have to give you the best. And you just have to live a little dream!

DROGHERIA BUONCONSIGLIO, ABRUZZI

The Drogheria Buonconconsiglio arises from a project of three young men passionate about gastronomy and with the desire of sharing this passion by proposing and serving a fine selection of products which displays the large bandwidth of Italian gastronomy.

In order to preserve the gastronomical heritage of the entire cultural landscape of Italy, the Drogheria is home to an offering of delicacies, which result exclusively from an artisan and biological production.

Our products are selected among the country’s best artisans and distributors. As a result we propose a wide range of cheese, mainly raw-milk cheese and coming from local production. The choice of wine is based on labels which solely originate from biodynamic production and, therefore, without any addition of sulfur. The same criterion leads the selection of our beer: we propose only homemade, not pasteurized and lively  beer.

As a result of our steady presence in gastronomy fairs as well as regular encounters with  artisans and producers, we have built a small network of “producer- friends”,  with whom we are collaborating – and, above all, it is our constant endeavor to keep at a high level the service that we offer to our “customer-friends”.

The synergic participation - which involves producers, ourselves and above all the customer who frequents the Drogheria Buonconsiglio - is what we consider as the most important part of our work and it is our greatest satisfaction and gratification to allow for this encounter and exchange. At the same time, the special relationship with our costumers constantly motivates us to improve and to discover new delicacies to propose in our store.

Our ambition for the future is to become an important point of reference for our customers and a place entirely dedicated to the education and enhancement in the field of gastronomy

ANTICA OSTERIA PACE, LOMBARDY

The ‘Antica Osteria Pace’ is located in one of the historic buildings of the village of ‘Persone’, an ancient pre-Roman and Celtic village, part of the impressive landscape of the ‘Val Vestino’, which includes one of the most important Wilderness areas of Italy.

The ‘Osteria’ project develops within the family context to devote themselves to the preservation and dissemination of local culinary and agricultural traditions to appreciate the natural beauty of the area and the authenticity of the place.

The kitchen is an important place: the famous ‘casoncelli’ are prepared by the mother Marisa using traditional recipes. The products are carefully selected from local producers: primarily milk, cheese and eggs. The meat dishes, as part of a local greatly appreciated tradition, consist largely of local wild game in accordance with the laws of environmental protection.

Even the guests’ rooms are furnished with the simplicity typical of mountain homes, but comfortable and cozy, suitable for families and groups.

The family-run company, the small size of the village of ‘Persone’, the opportunity to drop off the car for walking along the many trails through the valley make the stay particularly appreciated for those who want to soak up a non-exotic but equally surprising nature, still rich in its original and untouched uniqueness.
