Here at "Casale il Baronetto" your holiday is really eco-friendly!  We respect the environment reducing waste and Co2 emissions and supporting actively energies. We eat and cook in a eco-friendly way the products we grow. We believe in electric mobility and we support bartering. We dispose of many well equipped apartments: " Il Sole" e " La luna"  are annexed to the main building and  "Il Covo" and " Il Nido" are instead located in the beautiful medieval village of Penne.

It´s time to walk new roads.

  New buildings are no longer an option and we have to recover  existing structures. We have to produce energy in different ways, reuse water and cultivate sustainable . 

Changing life is really possible, it doesn't take much. We just need to cut down on our consumption, living in  low- cost places where houses are affordable and then make them comfortable and sustainable, wit our own effort.

We produce most of what we need: food, energy, water for our vegetable garden and surely we can and we will do even more, because this is only the beginning.

Since when I stopped to go every morning in the office,  I live with less and I  try to use my time as best as I can. I am feeling different and better, because the time I dispose now is all about my projects, my dreams,   it´s for me and for the people I love the most.

We are a touristic services’ agency that has been located in Cala Gonone for 18 years. For all of those who are in love with nature, we aim to transform their holidays in Sardinia into unique and unforgettable experiences. By proposing our activities and by supporting a sustainable eco-tourism, we want to ensure that all the natural riches are preserved.

We mainly propose outdoor activities, rental services and excursions. Our aim is to give the opportunity of intensely living the surrounding area in all of its real and savage aspects by organizing, for instance, hiking and excursions with mountain bike and kayak. 

We usually suggest to our costumers to venture for experiencing our beautiful bays, beaches with a crystalline sea, including Cala Luna the so called “Mediterranean Pearl” and other natural monuments, such as the caves of Bue Marino, which can be discovered by kayaking and, therefore, by having a direct contact with real natural beauties. We provide 24 hours assistance for kayak-trips of several days and for the “Selvaggio Blue”, one of the most beautiful and wild hiking paths in Europe. 

Thanks to the vast rose of choices among the different mountain bike paths and all the other numerous excursions that we organize, our guests can decide how to better explore the hinterland. Our staff, composed by competent guides, will be glad to show you breathtaking views, to bring you in uncontaminated places, as for example the ancient Nuraghe, and to the discover and observe with you wild animals, as the mouflon and the wild boar. 

Since we believe that a better distribution of tourism is able to respect the balance of the nature, we aim to recommend and incentivize - by proposing our offers - the low season tourism: from Easter until the beginning of June and from late September to early November. 

Furthermore, we have established several agreements with some accommodations  distributed in all the surrounding area and thanks to our deep knowledge of the territory and an active participation in many local projects, we aim to give to the tourists the occasion of living the real Sardinia!

We are a tour operator and an organization specialized in routes and trips with bicycle. We started in the 80’s and during these years we have developed a great experience linked, also, to the “Italian Federation Friends of Bicycle” (FIAB), an association which works in the field of the environmental volunteering. 

Our "mission" is to promote the sustainable and ecological tourism.

Since 1998, we organize trips with bicycle, ski tours, and outdoor activities as hiking and tours with roller skates. We rent bicycles and we have more than 250 tours for 26 different countries in our catalogue.

Our tours are suitable for everybody, without any age’s limit and even for families with children; the selection of the tours arises from a careful research of safe routes - surrounded by beautiful and natural landscapes and ennobled by little or great historical and artistic treasures-, with the possibility to rent bikes for tourism, to stay in quality hotels, with the maximum of security, the luggage’s transport and the travel’s assistance.

Our offer ranges from an half day or entire day short trips, to one-week tour, from individual journey in total freedom to trips organized with the guide, as well as from tours organized in the charming northern Europe to the warm Mediterranean, including Italy that, seen from the bicycle’s saddle, will surely appear as completely new and unusual. 

We also offer bike + boat trips, bike + ship + wellness journey, gastronomic tours and personal, tailor-made trips; least but not last, we promote programs for schools which include cultural excursions in the local territory and mobility’s courses.

Travelling with bicycle, by riding with slow rhythms and by following easy pathways, which in most cases do not exceed 50-60 km per day, means to avoiding the dethatched, rushed and often superficial travelling by bus or car. It means, in addition, to recreate a more real dimension, close to the nature, and to perceive smells and sounds, to feel fresh air on the face and to exchange a glances with the other people.

The love and the admiration for our city, has brought us to create an organization with the aim of offering to travellers a new face of the city, authentic and genuine at the same time.

In order to visit a city like Rome – where history becomes experiencable in multiple layers, the urban tissue is a labyrinth composed by little streets and alleys, where behind every corner a picturesque glimpse or a real artwork is hidden – it is not convenient to use crowded touristic buses, but agile and light vehicles with even a scent of antiquity.

Using a romantic old Vespa, or a robust and practical mountain bike or, why not, walking with our own legs, will allow us to dive into this beautiful capital, as long as we can feel its millennial and immortal breath. Experienced guides will make you feel as a real Roman and they will transform your visit into an unforgettable and unique experience.

We have studied pathways which are far away from the busy streets and are able to offer a complete image of the city by crossing and admiring the most picturesque and singular places in Rome.

The cycling tours are marked by a leisurely rhythm that increases the pleasure of every ride and allows to catch small but important details. Breaks for testing a delicious white pizza or a refreshing coffee in one of the typical bars frequented every day by the locals will not be missed.

Our proposals do not exclude the suburban Rome, the Roman countryside with its harmonic aspects and where the time seems to have stopped by disseminating its wonderful signs (catacombs, aqueducts, ancient tombs and patrician villas).

You also get in touch with the Castelli Romani’s area, which is the famous destination for outdoor excursions. In these places the nature, the culture and the cuisine compete in order to gratify who, accompanied by experts of mountain biking, is willing to "make just a little effort”.

Since 2003, IchnusaBike is an operator specialized in bike holidays, trips, bike hire and biking tours. An excursion or a bike trip with Ichnusabike is a different way and deeper knowledge of the area, a mix of adventure, fun and traditions that does not require a great physical workout because cycling is freedom, freedom of thought, movement and also a break to rest or just to admire the landscape and take a picture.

IchnusaBike offers different travel proposals that vary depending the itinerary or the road (Cycling, MTB, Road) or the sport (Biking, Hiking and Walking) and difficulty (on a scale from 1 up to 5).

As local guides, as IchnusaBike, we have in previous years created a network of partnerships that allow us to enhance both local productions and culture and to add value to our proposals that, unlike the journeys of mass "hit and run" tourism, become real experiences that give you the possibility to establish real contacts with the people and places visited.

We work and we have occasionally been engaged in restoring and operating old bikes that we give free of cost to people looking for a cheap means of transportation.

Environmental responsibility IchnusaBike is aware of the responsibility that comes from their own actions and choices. We specialize in trips by bicycle and even if we know that many of our services require the support of a motor vehicle, we try to encourage customers to use.

We put pressure on local government and public bodies so that they understand that the development of the territories does not necessarily go through the creation of unnecessary and harmful lines of asphalt that destroy old paths and roads full of history.
